Hitchcock was one of the first directors to direct a thriller, in the mid twentieth century his films shocked audiences around the world with their psychotic plots and chilling sound tracks. His most famous films were Psycho ('60), Vertigo ('58) and Rear Window ('54).
Quentin Tarantino
Tarantino became famous for his crime thriller "Reservoir Dogs" and then continued to direct quality films such as "Django Unchained". In his career he won two Oscars and was described as "the single most influential director of his generation".
Christopher Nolan
Chris is a modern day thriller director who directed films such as Insomnia and Inception - which won 4 Academy awards and is still today the most talked about thriller of all time. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
